Morning, Noon and Night: 3 Ways That Help Me Know that the LORD Himself is God⏤Vol.1 Chap.36

"Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture." Psalm 100:1-3 NASB

God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Father is God, Son is God, and Holy Spirit is God.
An Interconnectedness that creates within itself relationship between.
The mystery of God. I don't understand it all. But I see the ramifications of my belief in Him.

The very essence of who God is, is relationship.
He desires relationship within this Godhead. He desires relationship with his Creation.

I am part of that Creation and by entering into the stability of His framework and into His service, I become a party to the benefits of the outpouring of His care. I am part of the earth.

In this verse, the Word tells me to shout joyfully to the LORD.
In this verse, the Word tells me to serve the LORD with gladness.
In this verse, the Word tells me to come before Him with joyful singing.
In this verse the Word tells me that He made me and that I am HIS and in His care.

How does that play out in my own life?
  • Every day is a new day. All things are made new. Do you believe that? Waking each morning arm outstretched, hand open wide and saying openly and boldly: Thank you LORD. Or, as I say to myself in the mirror on days that are not so agreeable: "Robyn, find your happy." and my happy is GOD - I want to stop and find Him in the midst of those days, too. We all have harder days than others. But, I have found in this life, when I know what to set my mind on in those 'harder days' I am able to find my happy, much more quickly. And meditating on these two verses (and others) help me. My days are less chaotic when I enter into Him.
    • Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17
    • He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. Psalm 40:2
  • Every day is a full day. My heart belongs to the God Most High. He is my everything. I am covered by Him. As I begin my day in Him, I am confident that the day will be completed as He deems fit. I can trust His leading this way or that. I might stop longer here than I planned, or someone might cancel an appointment, but as I move into Him in the day, I can be sure that He is ordering my day. And when I get frustrated with that car darting through the red light, or that person on face book that has offended me, if I return my thoughts to these verses (or others) I return to solid ground more quickly.
    • "For those blessed by Him will inherit the land, but those cursed by Him will be cut off. The steps of a man are established by the LORD, and He delights in His way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the LORD is the one who holds his hand." Psalm 37:22-24
    • "Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose." Psalm 25:12
  • Every day is a complete day. Beginning each day open, and walking through each day open to direction I confidently lay down all that has been done and know that it is complete. I can hand all over to Him, because He continues working, He never sleeps. Unless I don't. But if I return my mind to these verses (or others) peace and comfort settle within me. Even in those days of my own confusion.
    • "He will not suffer your foot to be moved: He that keeps you will not slumber..."Psalm 121:3,8
    • "And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him , who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son..." Romans 8:27-29...

I am HIS, and He  secures me (this little insignificant sheep) within HIS pasture. I can trust that He is here with me. I know He wants me to glorify Him. He has a plan for more than my life. He has a plan for all of the universes and all of the creations. And hiding more of His word in my heart, helps me.

He has a plan for you as well. And hiding more of His word in your heart, it will help.
Because He said so.

He is God and He is my LORD. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - three in one.

Blessings upon your days.
See you next week. Here on Mondays.
