Robyn's Bible Reading Strategies Applied
Daily Meeting Place
1. Elisha's Reply
Today's Passage: 2 Kings 7:1-2
Get to know your bible. It will become a good friend.
Or find the passage NASB version on Bible Gateway here.
You can search for other versions there as well. Versions even in foreign languages.
Or, for your convenience I have typed the verses below from the
New Living Testament (NLT).
Invite God to join you in your reading and ask Him for wisdom.
If there is anything in your spirit hindering you, confess it now.
It is okay, He knows it anyway. Bring it to Him and ask Him for help, remember you are already forgiven, as Him to help you as you embrace that truth and live it out.
Thank You for meeting me, LORD.
I welcome you into this place.
Please prepare my heart Jehovah.
Thank you, Omnipotent God for insight.
And What Do I Do With That?
1. Elisha replied, "Listen to this message from the LORD! This is what the LORD says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, five quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and ten quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver."
2. The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, "That couldn't happen even if the LORD opened the windows of heaven"
But Elisha replied, "You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won't be able to eat any of it!"
2 Kings 7:1-2 NLT
Thank God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for meeting you today.
