Robyn's Bible Reading Strategies Applied
17. Honor to the LORD's name 1. Today's Passage: Isaiah 55:10-13 Please read the passage from your own bible. Here is a link to Bible Gateway. Or You may read it from the New Living Testament NLT version here: 10. "The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. 11. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. 12. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! 13. Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the LORD's name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love." Isaiah 55:10-13 NLT 2. Sending out His word in this community. 3. A prayer for Reading, Reflection and Bible Community. Abba, may we continue to be about Your Word. May You take Your Word where You desire it to go. Allow me to be a vehicle. Allow the entire community to open our hearts to your words. May Your Word go out from beyond this community to those we know, love, and even just rub shoulders with during the day. Thank you for the FRUIT YOU PRODUCE in us. In Jehoshua's name, Amen 4. Please leave your name and initial in the comments below. Remember we all benefit from your testimony. Problems?
