Joshua's Death and Burial
Today's Passage: Joshua 24:29-33
Get to know your bible. It will become a good friend.
Or find the passage NASB version on Bible Gateway here.
You can search for other versions there as well. Versions even in foreign languages.
Or, for your convenience I have typed the verses below from the
New Living Testament (NLT).
Thank you LORD
We are here with You, today.
Come, LORD Jesus Come.
an aside: this passage begins with "After this,"
I always encourage you to go back and read the chapters before these words.
Go back to the beginning of the thought
for further understanding.
29. After this, Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of 110.
30. They buried him in the land he had been allocated, at Timnath-serah
in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
31. The people of Israel served the LORD throughout the lifetime of Joshua
and of the elders who outlived him⏤those who had personally experienced
all that the LORD had done for Israel.
32. The bones of Joseph, which the Israelites had brought along with them
when they left Egypt, were buried at Shechem, in the parcel of ground Jacob had
bought from the sons of Hamor for 100 pieces of silver. The land was located in
the territory allotted to the descendants of Joseph.
33. Eleazar son of Aaron also died. He was buried in the hill country of Ephraim,
in the town of Gibeah, which had been given to his son Phinehas.
Joshua 24:29-33 NLT
Read and summarize each verse into as few words as you can.
Try for 1 or 2 words.
Again, just a suggestion.
Praise God for history.
Praise God for showing us how to count our days.
Praise God for this passage.
We praise You our Abba,
We come before You and praise You for this insight into Your people.
Thank You Jesus, Jehoshua. Thank you.

We understand not sharing, but we encourage you to testify to what God is doing this moment in your day and in your heart, through the meditation upon His words.
Remember I am praying for you.
And I will be back here tomorrow,
I hope I will see you here too.
