A Psalm

1.

Today's Passage: Psalm 98:1-9

Get to know your bible. It will become a good friend.

Or find the passage NASB version on Bible Gateway here.
You can search for other versions there as well. Versions even in foreign languages.

Or, for your convenience I have typed the verses below from the
New Living Testament (NLT).

Thank You for meeting us, LORD.
We welcome you into this place.

1. Sing a new song to the LORD, for he has done wonderful deeds.
His right hand has won a mighty victory; his holy arm has
shown his saving power!
2. The LORD has announced his victory has has revealed his
righteousness to every nation!
3. He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel.
The ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.

4. Shout to the LORD, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!
5. Sing your praise to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and melodious son,
6. with trumpets and the sound of the ram's horn.
Make a joyful symphony before the LORD, the King!

7. Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise!
Let the earth and all living things join in.

8. Let the rivers clap their hands in glee!
Let the hills sing out their songs of joy

9. before the LORD.
For the LORD is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness.
Psalm 98:1-9 NLT

9th strategy.
Read and summarize each verse into as few words as you can.
Goal 1 or 2 words.

  • Begin by asking Jesus to cleanse your heart to hear what He has for you to hear.
  • Read the passage completely.
  • After reading through the first time, go back and read the first verse in the passage.
  • Then try to narrow the focus of the verse down to one or two words.
  • Write those words down either on a piece of paper, or on your text messages on your phone.
  • Read the 2nd verse and do the same thing.
  • Complete all the verses in the passage.
  • Sign and date the page in your journal, or send the text message to yourself.
  • Review these words throughout the day.
  • Thank Jesus for the words that He gave you to bring you closer to Him through this day.

3.

Our LORD,
We continue to ask You to give us guidance over what we are to contemplate today.
Give us insight throughout our days.
We desire to grow deeper in You.

Thank You Jesus
Amen.

4.

Please leave your first and last initial in the comments below.
We are happy to welcome you to leave your comments.

Faith and Hope. Peace and Joy.
Let us sing a new song today.

And I will be back here tomorrow,
I hope I will see you here too.

Sing anew
Righteousness revealed
Shout joy
To the Lord
My king
All alive
All creation
Sing
He judges
With equity
