Ayin
Don't Forget this is the Longest Chapter in the Bible. Psalm 119 is one of several acrostic poems found in the Bible. Its 176 verses are divided into 22 stanzas, one of each of the 22 characters that make up the Hebrew alphabet. Each of the 22 sections of 8 verses is subheaded with the name of a letter in the Hebrew alphabet..

Remember - we are reading one of the sections
on the first day of every month.

Choose three important verses that speak to you today.

• Begin by getting your heart ready to receive the words that God has laid down for us on this page. Ask Him to give you what you need to hear. Ask Him to give you the mind of Christ to be able to remember this strategy and continue it throughout the day.
• Read the passage completely.
• After reading the first time go back and chose the three most important verses that speak to you today.
• Ask God to bring those verses back to you through out the day.
• Find out if by the end of the day only one verse has been thought about more than the others.
• Thank God for that verse.
• This is a good strategy to use for long passages.
• Be sure to stop and thank God for being here with you today.
