Robyn's Bible Reading Strategies Applied
916. Tares Among Wheat 1. Today's Passage: Matthew 13:33-35 Get to know your bible. It will become a good friend. Or find the passage NASB version on Bible Gateway here. You can search for other versions there as well. Versions even in foreign languages. Or, for your convenience I have typed the verses below from the New Living Testament (NLT). 2. Thank You for meeting me, LORD. I welcome you into this place. Please prepare my heart Jehovah. Thank you for insight. 3. 31st Strategy. A Verse of Treasure 1. Enter your time with the LORD in prayer. 2. Ask Him to give your heart what you need. 3. Read the verse or few verses you have set before you. 4. Ask Him to bring you what He wants to share with you. 5. Thank Him for His guidance. 33. Jesus also used this illustration: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measure of flour, it permeated every part of the dough." 34. Jesus always used stories and illustrations like these when speaking to the crowds. In fact, he never spoke to them without using such parables. 35. This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet: "I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world." Matthew 13:33-35 NLT 4. Thank you for coming today. Please leave your initials and a comment.
